Product Introduction

Cryolite is also known as sodium hexafluoadluminate or sodium aluminate fluoride.Its molecular formula is Na3AlF6,small white crystals,odorless,solubility than natural cryolite,specific gravity is 3,hardness 2-3,melting point 1009 degree ,easy to absorb moisture.

Application:used as a flux for aluminum electrolysis;wear-resistant additive for grinding products;ferroalloy and boiling steel flux, non-ferrous metal flux, casting deoxidizer, chain olefin polymerization catlyst,as well as for glass anti-reflection coating ,enamel emlsifier,glass opalescent agent,welding flux, filler for ceramic industry,pesticides& insecticides and other industries.

Raw Material Sodium Cryolite

(1) Effectively reduce the grinding surface temperature and oxidation degree. Because the melting point of cryolite is low, it melts under the action of grinding heat, which needs to absorb grinding heat, and at the same time, due to melting, it promotes the grinding particle to fall off, so as to prevent the grinding wheel plugging.

(2) Reduce the burn area of the cutting material. Due to the melting of cryolite, the heat is absorbed, and the grinding temperature is reduced, so that the burn area of the cutting and grinding parts is reduced.

(3) Improve cutting and grinding speed. Cryolite becomes liquid after melting, which is a good lubricant and can improve the cutting speed.

(4) In the grinding process, cryolite can decompose and precipitate fluorine after melting, which is conducive to the grinding and cutting of steel, so cryolite is especially suitable for dry grinding wheels without coolant.

(5) Prolong the use of the grinding wheel. The effects of the above aspects, taken together, will extend the effective service life of the grinding wheel, and the production cost will also decrease.
